Don't Be A Wage Slave!

Take Control Of Your Finances By Following This Advice.

Personal finance is about how to best spend your money so that you can still have some

when you need it. It has to do with budgeting, spending and all the stuff in between.

This article will give you many tips that you are sure to find useful.

It is important to know who, where, what, when and how, about each agency that reports

on your credit history. If you do not follow up with each reporter on your credit file,

you could be leaving a mistaken account reference on your history, that could easily be

taken care of with a phone call.

You and your children should consider public schools for college over private

universities. There are many highly prestigious state schools that will cost you a

fraction of what you would pay at a private school. Also consider attending community

college for your AA degree for a more affordable education.

To avoid surprise deductions from your checking account, access your account online at

least once a month. Scroll back through the previous month and make note of all the

recurring automatic deductions from your account. Go ahead and deduct those in your

check ledger now - even if it puts you in a negative balance. The money won't be gone

until the debit is posted, but you will know not to spend money on unnecessary items

until you have built up enough of a balance to cover your recurring automatic debits.

If you want to save money, then look hard at your current spending patterns. It is easy

to theoretically "wish" you could save money, but actually doing it requires some

self-discipline and a little detective work. For one month, write down all of your

expenses in a notebook. Commit to writing down everything, such as, morning coffee, taxi

fare or pizza delivery for the kids. The more accurate and specific you are, then the

better understanding you will get for where your money is really going. Knowledge is

power! Scrutinize your log at the end of the month to find the areas you can cut back on

and bank the savings. Small changes add up to big dollars over time, but you have to

make the effort.

Cost cutting is one of the most effective ways that you can save money during the

course of the year. The first place that you should start is with things that you do not

need. Cut ties with some of the channels that you do not use on your cable network to

save money.

Before you head out to the supermarket to buy food for your home, make a list of all

of the things that you need. This will increase your level of organization and allow you

to stick to a plan, instead of randomly purchasing foods that can contribute to weight

gain.

One thing that you will need to be very concerned with when analyzing your personal

finances is your credit card statement. It is very important to pay down your credit

card debt, as this will only rise with the interest that is tacked onto it each month.

Pay off your credit card immediately to increase your net worth.

Your cell phone is an expense that can vary, depending on the frequency of use. If

there are applications or programs that you do not use on your phone, cut these out

immediately. Payments for services that you are not making use of, should be eliminated

as soon as possible to reduce spending.

{Keep track of your actions, and of whether they were successful or not. Go back over

your notes and think about how you could have avoided a failure, or realize what you did

right. Consider yourself as a student who constantly has to learn new things in order to

improve.

|The chances are high that your money will work harder, not in savings, bonds, stocks,

etc. but in paying down your credit cards. Generally, credit card debt is the most

punishing debt that households have. Credit card interest rates are now so high th

Auto Repair Tips Your Can't Miss Out On All Seasons Valeters Croydon Remarkable Five Star Review by Adam H.

All Seasons Valeters Croydon Remarkable Five Star Review by Adam H.
Taking The Fear Out Of Fixing Your Car

Everyone has to deal with auto repairs at some time in their

life. Car repairs can cost a significant amount of money. Whether you are doing the

repairs yourself or hiring a mechanic, it is a good idea to know what you are doing. Use

these tips to be better prepared when you have to fix your car.

Get yourself a good battery charger, making sure to keep it inside the car. Batteries

die all the time, but you won't be in trouble if you can charge it. Learn how to find

connection points so that you can use the charger with ease.

Purchase motor oil on sale and in discount stores and keep two or three bottles in the

trunk of your car. Check your oil every time you fill your gas tank. If you find that

your oil level is low, you will save lots of money by having your own oil on hand rather

than purchasing it at a gas station for inflated prices.

Do not hire a mechanic until you are sure they have experience with this particular

make and model. If they have before, then they are likely going to be able to also fix

your car easily enough.

Basic maintenance like oil changes are actually very easy to do yourself. You only need

at ramp, a pan, and a few basic tools. Just be sure to check with your city or county

government beforehand to find out where to take your waste oil. It is extremely damaging

to the environment, and you could face steep fines for dumping it out.

Do your research prior to choosing any auto repair company. Don't trust solely the

company's website. Look to auto forums and be wary of any complaints you may see. Also

take into consideration any rave reviews the auto shop receives. These are typically

objective reviews, so you can trust them more than what the shop's materials may say.

When performing your own car repairs, make sure you budget enough time to get the job

done. It's easy to underestimate how long a repair job will take. You may encounter

difficult to remove bolts or nuts, or find out a part is harder to remove than you

anticipated. Giving yourself enough time to complete the repair safely will make the job

much less stressful.

Compare prices among your local auto body repair shops before you decide which on to

choose. Even though labor charges are pretty uniform, the amount of time that each shop

believes the repair could take could vary, as well as what they will charge you for the

parts. Be sure to shop around so that you get the best deal possible.

When auto repair issues are complicated, don't diagnose them yourself. It takes

special skills to work on cars. The problem may seem simple, but you might find out it's

more complex. Allow the diagnosis to be made by a professional, when possible. Give them

all the details on what occurred and what you heard, but leave the final diagnosis to

them.

{If you are short on funds and need repairs done on your car, consider taking your

vehicle to a vocational school. There your car will be worked on by students learning

their craft. They are inexperienced, of course, but they will be under the watchful eye

of a trained, experienced mechanic.

|Changing a car battery is quick and easy. It usually involves unfastening a clip on top

of the battery and using a wrench to loosen and remove the connectors. (Naturally, you

should do this with your engine off!) Brush the connectors clean with a wire brush. Lift

out the old battery and put the new battery in its place. Fasten the connectors securely

and refasten the clasp. You should be good to go!

|Keep a basic repair kit in your car trunk at all times. A simple kit consisting of

wrenches, jumper cables, screws, and a jack can be a lifesaver if your car breaks down

on the road. This will allow you to make small repairs on the spot, saving you the cost

of an expensive tow truck.

|Ask auto body shops that you are considering if they offer a warranty on their repairs.

Any reputable shop is more than happy to guarantee their work on new parts for at least

a few months. If any one that you talk to does not you should certainly find a different

shop.

|Wash and wax your car on a fairly regular basis. This will prevent it from becoming

eroded. Many people go get paint jobs to cover the process of erosion. You can avoid

having to pay for this if you make sure that your car is very well taken care of.

|Don't get sucked into to the lure of aftermarket parts for new cars. You want your baby

to run as well as possible for as long as possible, and that means spending the extra to

get parts that match the ones already in your car. Trying to get that clunker to run

just a few more miles? Save the money and take the aftermarket versions.

|Rotate your car tires every 6,000 miles or at every other oil change. Rotating your

tires on a set schedule helps ensure that they wear evenly, and thus last longer. Your

car will also be easier to drive, as unbalanced tires can lead to the car pulling to one

side or the other.

|Look to the Better Business Bureau and local consumer advocate groups for more

information on the auto repair shop you are considering. You'll want to search

everywhere for potential knowledge on this service center before you plop down the big

bucks on a costly repair. Often these organizations will have a lot of great

intelligence for you to consider.

|You can fix small dents with a suction cup dent puller. This usually works for very

small dents that can easily be covered with the suction cup. If the cup does not work,

you will have to apply some f

Beauty Tips

Every Woman Must Know About

Let's be honest, in today's world physical appearance

is very important, and everyone wants to look as good as they can. The key to

maintaining your beauty and youthfulness is to educate yourself and to learn what steps

you should take to allow yourself to look your absolute best. This article contains a

number of useful beauty tips.

It is important to use a skin moisturizer on the face. You may think you do not need

this if you have greasy or oily skin, but it can still be helpful to keep your skin

looking nice. Good moisturizers should contain SPF.

No matter the type of your skin, you should make it a habit to wash your skin with a

gentle cleanser once or twice a day. You should use a makeup remover before starting

your cleansing, though. If you do not do this you may clog your pores and get pimples.

Pale or sparse eyebrows can be quickly and easily filled in to make them appear thicker

and fuller. Use a disposable mascara wand to brush on dark brown eye shadow or mascara

onto the brows, then comb it through with another disposable brush to smooth out the

color and remove clumps.

You can apply makeup to your wide-set eyes in a way that is very flattering and can

make the eyes appear closer together. First, apply a dark brown or navy eyeliner to the

inner corners of your eyes, then blend it with a sponge. Apply your eyeshadow at the

inner corners, then blend well outward.

Make your skin more beautiful by eating fruit. If you have a sweet tooth, and satiate

it with sugar, you can quickly see it on your skin. You can feed your sweet tooth, and

your skin, by eating sweet fruit in place of anything sugary. When you do this, your

skin won't be the only beneficiary.

Instead of applying false eyelashes that may fall off sometime during the day, use an

eyelash curler. An eyelash curler will curl your lashes upwards and away from the eye,

making your eyes appear bigger. Make sure you use the curler before applying mascara, or

you'll have to reapply it.

Avoid commercial "body butters" that contain chemicals, dyes and additives. All natural

walnut oil or peanut oil make wonderful all-over body moisturizers. They are very

inexpensive and are scent free. If you want scent, you can add the essential oil of your

choice. After your bath, slather walnut or peanut oil on lavishly. Wrap up in an old

terry-cloth robe and curl up with a good book or a movie while your moisture treatment

soaks in.

Beauty always starts with feeling good about yourself. If you don't feel confident

about your body or level of fitness than you must start off by getting yourself to the

gym. By just using three to four hours per week of your time you will improve your

physical appearance and feel more confident.

If you are like many who have a problem keeping your eyeliner where it is supposed to

be, try applying your eye shadow on top of the eyeliner with a damp cotton ball. It will

help to set the liner and keep it in its place longer than it would otherwise.

{When applying winged eyeliner, extend the line at the outer edge of your eye so that

it follows the natural curve of your lower lash line. This helps it bl
